I discovered orienteering when I was Googling wilderness skills in the fall of 2009, and I’ve been madly in love with it ever since.

I’m a UX (User Experience) Designer at motion.social, and I enjoy craft beers and board games with my wife in Seattle, WA.

This blog blends my love for orienteering, pride for my club, and fond appreciation of UX process and principles. My hope is to improve the user experience for orienteering newcomers, both locally and nationally, and grow our sport.
